Kilner screw top jars featuring the Kilner vacuum seal preserving consisting of a 2 part closure with separate lid disc and screw band. Much copied around the world, the Kilner preserve jar is similar to the equally famous Mason Jar.

Kilner preserve jars are suitable for both water bath canning and pressure canning.
Dishwasher safe.
Replacement Kilner 70mm jar lids and screw bands are available. They also fit other 70mm Kilner and Mason style preserve jars.

Please note that very hot fluids should never be poured into cold glassware. To avoid breakage ensure that your jars are warmed before use.
