Pearl Sunny Cap Screw Top Preserve Jars for Home Canning with Fully Reusable Lids

Designed with lid com­po­nents to be ful­ly reusable for the life­time of the jar Pearl’s new range of pre­serve jars are rev­o­lu­tion­ary. No need to throw away rusty parts ever again as Pearl Sun­ny Cap jars fea­ture glass clo­sures and stain­less steel screw bands. The rub­ber seals can be used mul­ti­ple times. Although orig­i­nal­ly designed for can­ning Pearl do not rec­om­mend that the Sun­ny Cap jars are used for this pur­pose. This is due to the per­ceived dif­fi­cul­ty in remov­ing the lids after pro­cess­ing in a water bath. In real­i­ty we have found that sim­ply press­ing a but­ter knife into a gap between the seal and lids and twist­ing works very well. These attrac­tive jars are also ide­al for air­tight dry stor­age, jam mak­ing and oth­er pre­serv­ing tasks. The Sun­ny Cap glass jars are them­selves iden­ti­cal to the Luna Cap model.
