Small 9cm ceram­ic fer­men­ta­tion weight stones for jars. Designed for use in jars with a min­i­mum inter­nal diam­e­ter of 10cm. This includes stan­dard clip-top pre­serve jars with an 8.7cm open­ing from Kil­ner, Le Par­fait, Leifheit, Ikea Korken etc. Hand made in The Nether­lands these are the same fer­men­ta­tion weight stones sup­plied these with our 1 litre and 1.9 litre fer­men­ta­tion jar sets.

Sup­plied as 2 sets of stones, 4 stones in total.

These fer­men­ta­tion weight stones for jars are unglazed and can become stained after pro­longed use. We rec­om­mend sim­mer­ing in a 50:50 white vine­gar and water solu­tion for sani­tis­ing and clean­ing between uses.
