Ceramic Fermentation Weight Stones for Fermentation Crocks. Four Sizes Available.

Ceram­ic fer­men­ta­tion weight stones for fer­men­ta­tion crocks and jars in a vari­ety of sizes. All of these food-safe unglazed ceram­ic stones are man­u­fac­tured in Europe. Please note we sell these both in pairs and also as sin­gles, handy if you need to replace a bro­ken stone. The dimen­sions of the stones are as follows:

• 13cm diam­e­ter stones: Thick­ness: 2cm.
• 17cm diam­e­ter stones: Thick­ness: 2.5cm.
• 22cm diam­e­ter stones: Thick­ness: 2.5cm.
• 25cm diam­e­ter stones: Thick­ness: 2.5cm.

As these fer­men­ta­tion weight stones are unglazed and can become stained after pro­longed use. We rec­om­mend sim­mer­ing in a 50:50 white vine­gar and water solu­tion for sani­tis­ing and clean­ing between uses.
